Hi I want to point out from the start that I am not a complainer. Life is too short. That said there are small things that really annoy not just me but those around me too, and when this happens something should be said and the issue raised in an appropiate manner. Hence my email. Last Wednesday my wife snd I went to see Independance Day in the Odeon in Blanchardstown SC. As im an invalid my wife purchased the ticket earlier in the day. We arrived about 15 mins before the movie and it was already starting to fill up. Despite being on a walking stick I went to the back row. The lighting was on in the cinema and it was very easy to see that the cinema wasn\'t cleaned following the previous performance. Someone must have complained and despite having a half full cinema and more people arriving by the minure a member of staff asked us to leave so they could clean the cinema but to his I promptly shouted in wouldn\'t be leaving my seat. I didnt do this to be an annoyance to anyone but with my disability i wouldnt be quick or agile enough to get back into the seats we purposely came down to get seats we wanted. As I have your ear, so to speak, I would like to make a duggestion that may speed up people moving through the ticket area with beverages and popcorn in hand. The patron purchases their ticket from home or from the ticket wall as you walk into the Cinema. When booking their ticket they have an option of purchasing their soft drink and popcorn. If the purchase is made from home they can print out their ticket and beverage and pop corn reciept too. When the patron arrives at the Odeon depending on the movie the patron will go to the dispatch point for example screen 1-3 go to the last till area on the left and 4-9 go to the right. A quick scan of the bar code printed on their ticket will reveal the beverage or popcorn purchased. A transaction for two drinks and two pop corns should take less than a minute as I would suggest that two employees man each station so there will always a constant supply of fresh drinks and popcorn ready to be handed out. I havd a B.A in people management. I was a manager in Intel up until I was in an accident while visiting Belgium. In Intel my primary role was to look at the production bottle necks and fix each one that follow the last one. As for the cinema there is nothing more fustrating waiting to buy a ticket for a movie that is about to start while a guy in front of you is discussing with his partner and the server if there should br butter on the popcorn or not!!! Wao there is a lot of reading there. I had no intention to write something so substancial. I would appreciate your feedback Kind Regards
